Hello everybody,

This is my new water colour painting.

I found this subject on the road when I was on my way to home. I found it kind of intresting little bit kind if still life painting so I captured it and painted with watercolour.

Sometime people use to say that making 'still life' painting is kinda boaring. Even previously my thought was also like, ya it's boaring who is going to do this, but no, actually not.
You know what, when I tried to make it, it feels great to me. I got the same good feelings what I usually get by making any scenery, landscape, or portraits kind of things.

Actully, art gives life to things, and still life is one of the perfect example for this. Those things to which we usually deny to see or sometimes ignore it like the jugs or mugs, glasses on the table, usual things in our houses, stones, pabbels, or sometimes the small rocks by the side of rivers are very few of the examples of still life. If you want to see the beauty of those things try to make it in your paintings. May be those things don't attract you naturally but when you'll see the painting of it you'll be able to find the actual beauty of that stuffs.

If you'll try to make any paintings on still life you'll be able to see yourself bringing the beauty of such things live in your painting which will make you confident to find some more hidden beauty's from the life of non living things.

Hi friends this is my painting Standing Still.

This is a place, a gatepost in my street which is very old. Once I was moving from this place and suddenly I watched it in front of me when I reached there. No one were there at that time accept me and a silence of noon. I felt something different for that place for the first time in this much of years from my childhood till now. I have always been through that gatepost but it was the first time I observed it like that, the silence of nature, the details of bricks at the walls and an old gate but very strongly surviving till now by the time and standing still like that from always.

These things provoked me to capture that still life beauty in my painting and I just made it.

So, this is the way of observation which helped me to get a beautiful subject for my painting.

And today I am going to share about the steps which leads a painting to be completed, that's the three important words SKETCHING, DRAWING AND PAINTING but before that it's important to know something about art, So,,,,,

What is 'ART' ?

We use our physical and mental ability to create something that is art.
Art is something which is related to our internal and external feelings, that feelings which is sometimes related to the nature, sometimes the people's and sometimes to ourselves.

There are many kinds of arts and fine art is one of them which is a form of visual art which defines the presence of beauty in anything or everything.

SKETCHING, DRAWING and PAINTING.

SKETCHING :

The first or basic lines drawn according to the composition to get a perfect drawing of that composition is called sketching.
In this we use to draw basic sketch similar to the design of the object. We should draw a light sketch with a very fine or thin lines so that we could easily make changes if needed.

DRAWING :

The art or technique of representing an object or outlining a figure plan, or sketch by means of lines, applying according to whatever the subject is , that is called drawing.

PAINTING :

The practice of applying paints, pigments or colors to the sketch or drawing of the subject or composition, to the solid surface which defines the colours, light, shadow etc. according to the virtue of the subject choosen by an artist, with the help of any medium is called painting.

And it's completed.
